  1. Any personally identifiable information that may be collected through the use of our website. 
  2. How the information is being collected, how it is utilised and with whom it is shared as well as any choices available to you regarding the collection, use and distribution of the information. 
  3. The safeguards in place intended to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control. 
  4. The manner of correcting the information in respect of any inaccuracies that may have been captured when the information was first made available. 

The electronic communications and Transaction Act 2 of 2022 (“ECT Act”) requires compliance on websites by the parties voluntarily transacting through the website.

The protection of the privacy and confidentiality of any personal information is important to us as we aim to be fully compliant with any legislation and to protect you, the client, from any misuse or intrusion on your privacy. 

2. PERSONAL INFORMATION 

The personal information that this policy seeks to protect specifically targets personal information enabling a third party to identify you by the third party from the information collected. This is either done by direct contact with you in person, by telephone, letter, facsimile, e-mail or by your visit to our website and interacting therewith. When so doing you may be requested to furnish further information to enable us to carry out our mandate as your agent and you may be requested to furnish further information to give effect to such mandate. 

In order to effectively use our services, you will be required to log in and register in order to complete the profile form where your personal information is necessary in order to enable us to make reservations, bookings and travel arrangements on your behalf. 

In order for us so to do, we require your consent for the collection of any such information and unless you advise us otherwise your interaction with us on the website and in any other form shall serve as the requisite consent for us to collect such personal information. 

This website seeks to collect, process and store only such personal information that is necessary to enable us to provide the services which we offer. Such personal information will not be utilised for any other purpose than that for which it is intended. The information collected will be stored for a period 1 year from the date on which it is last used. No personal information will be shared with any third party unless prior written agreement has been obtained or unless the information utilised is necessary and permitted to be shared in terms of the prevailing legislation. 

Any information used with the user consent will record what information is released, to whom it is released and the reason for such release for a period of 1 year from the date of such release.

Once the information has become obsolete the information will be deleted or destroyed. Although the ECT Act provides for the use of personal information in order to compile profiles for FICA purposes, no such information will be able to be linked to any specific user. 

When using your personal information, it will be done for the purpose for which it is needed or any ancillary purpose including: – 

  1. Any submission that will have to be made to a regulatory body or law enforcement agencies empowered to act so as to be protect against fraud and any related security issues. 
  2. Regulatory report and compliance. 
  3. To assist us in improving our marketing of our products and services and to develop the same. 
  4. To provide updates and details of services that may be of interest to you and potentially involve you in any market research. 
  5. The administration of our accounts and internal administration to enable us to instruct third party contractors that require your personal information in order to fulfil the mandate given to us. Under such circumstances the service provider will be required to issue the requisite safeguards that the information will only be used for the purpose for which it was intended. We can however, not be held responsible for any breach of such safeguards beyond our control. 

In general, your personal information will not be disclosed without your consent unless it may be necessary to prevent a thread to life or health, is a requirement under prevailing legislation or is reasonably necessary to enforce the law and investigate any potential unlawful activity. 

In order to fulfil our mandate, it may be necessary to share personal information with third parties beyond the borders of South Africa. Please furnish us with your written objections to any such transfers, to be sent to the e-mail address provided. In order to give effect to the undertakings contained herein we have put in place the necessary controls to ensure any loss, misuse, alteration or destruction of your personal information, which is restricted to our offices as required by the Act. 

Only direct employees of our agency who needs to carry out tasks relating to billing, resolving disputes and the fulfilment of the mandate given to us will have access to your personal information. 

Our systems are regularly reviewed to ensure the best possible protection that we can offer. Our service is situated in a particular environment with access control and appropriate passport protection. All reasonable measures are taken to ensure that the integrity of the information submitted and is safeguarded. However, we cannot not be held liable for any loss or other damage that may be sustained as a result of an intentional or accidental release of information to a third party. 

Please note that at any particular time you are entitled to have access to your personal information that we hold and if you should require access to such particulars you are able to request the same in writing to the e-mail address given. Please note that telephonic requests by fax or e-mail cannot be entertained as we are unable to verify the source thereof. 

Please also note that in terms of the Act any requests for such information will be subject to a prescribed free, which must be paid and sufficient information must be provided to establish that the person requesting the information is entitled to receive the same. 

As such when making a request for information please enclose the following:- 

  1. Postal order or cheque made out to the company in an amount of R10,00. 
  2. A photocopy of your passport or identity document or any other official document, which bears your signature. 
  3. Details of the transactions made with us. 
  4. Details of any particular document you require that may contain your personal details. 

Any reasonable additional expenses may be recovered from you in order to enable us to supply you with information sought. 

We may from time to time furnish you with information and promotions on services that we offer that we think you may be interested in and in order for us to carryout market research. Should you not wish to receive this information or opt out of this service then please do so by way of an e-mail specifying what service you no longer wish to subscribe to. 

From time to time, we may review and revise this policy and we reserve the right so to do in which event any amendments will be posted on our website.
